The College is imparting quality education with plans in progress. It has been accredited by the NAAC with B++ and the accreditation will lead to autonomous status of the College soon. My dream of Sourashtra College growing into a Deemed University will be realized in the near future. The Institution has been progressing steadily since its inception in 1967. Now it is blossoming with various disciplines in regular and self-financed courses. Ours is the first College in Madurai City to have started M.Sc Bio-technology. It has active NSS/NCC programmes which motivate the students to be involved in a variety of opportunities to serve the society. In a short span of one decade, the infrastructure of the College has improved a lot on an expansive campus. Our dedicated teachers work with a goal to provide the best coaching for the bright and prosperous future of every student. Started for the upliftment of Sourashtra Linguistic Community, our College extends its service to other communities as well. Every step is taken by the Institution to nurture the multifaceted personality development of the students towards building a strong nation.
